Erato Cave Suites, Megalochori
Cave suite Erato, named after Erato, the most erotic of the Nereids, her name meaning “the awakener of desire”.
The cave was residence of the 18th century and their meticulous restoration was completed in 2022, adopting a bioclimatic design, in accordance with the modern trends of minimal aesthetics, while preserving and emphasizing the traditional elements of the local architecture of Santorini and the Cyclades islands.
The accommodation is located in Megalochori. The village is known for its picturesque narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and beautiful blue-domed churches. Many of the buildings are built into the cliffs, creating a cozy and secluded atmosphere. Megalochori also has lovely courtyards, quaint squares, and a few small cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy local cuisine.
